PMI European Conference Brussels Oct 2015

A synopsis of my PMI presentation in Brussels this month:

How to understand what the devil really happened on our project with Effective Lessons Learned.

Lessons learnt are too frequently dismissed as a necessary project evil, something undertaken as a begrudging closing commitment to close out the project and ‘tick all the boxes’.
Far too often they’re not done at all, leading to a state of perpetual naivety where project mistakes are all too regularly repeated with a blind ignorance from an absence of learning.
This paper looks at best practices, industry tips and techniques from those that do this well, and make a habit of learning from the bad and the good that we all deliver and face in our projects.

Moving from eternal innocence to sustained project wisdom. Avoiding 'insanity', i.e. doing the same things over again and expecting a different result.
