Jonathan is a Management Consultant, and manufacturing and engineering specialist. He graduated from Bradford University in 1983 with an honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, passed statutory law examinations in 1985 and achieved Chartered Engineer’s status in 1988.
Jonathan works as an independent partner and senior consultant for several leading international management consultancies with a wide range of global blue-chip clients. Previous to this, his work as a consultant entailed large scale project management and consultancy with a number of international consultancies on British Government, World Bank and EU projects in India, Egypt, Turkey, South Africa and Romania. Jonathan started his engineering career reaching the position of senior engineering manager from a successful career spanning 14 years in extraction industries (coal, diamond, gold, lignite) before taking the opportunity to further his career overseas. He has currently worked in over 40 countries across the globe.

Jonathan has presented at several international conferences having successfully completed his MBA through Henley Management College in the 1990s. In the last six years, Jonathan has worked extensively in the Middle East and Africa, predominantly in Steel, FMCG, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas and ‘heavy industry’ sectors delivering exemplary training results and also implementing proven, successful project methodologies to achieve significant business turnarounds within client organisations. This has meant the application and successful marriage of organisational strategy implementation to disciplined client project management and established principles of effective project management including set-up of project management offices.
In every client engagement the successful transfer of capabilities in project management, problem solving structured decision making and people management skills has necessitated bespoke training solutions, each tailored to the client’s organisational culture and industry sector.
